The RoleThe Role• Manage a global alternative asset portfolio. • Achieve target performance for alternative assets. • Develop long term expectations of return for real estate, private equity and commodity markets using sell side research, interviews and internal macro-economic data sources. • Identify promising regions of the world to invest in and the best managers in those regions to invest with. • Perform due diligence on potential managers by evaluating sources of alpha; may involve visits to the manager’s office to understand system, processes and strategy. Due diligence will also include an assessment of the manager’s operations. |
RequirementsRequirements• MBA or CFA preferred • 6-7 years of experience in asset management, investment banking and/or research • Fluent in English and Arabic preferred; Knowledge of Bloomberg, MPI, Zephyr necessary |
