Job description / Role
To assist the General Manager in the overall monitoring and control of project costs, contractual & commercial issues, contract agreements review, compliance monitoring and dispute settlement, variation and other claims monitoring with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations.
- Ability to direct and coordinate activities of all concerned projects related to the production, pricing, installation and distribution of products.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific jobs to Project Managers along with Project Engineers.
- Establish new, and maintain existing, long-term relationships with customers-Clients
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales.
- Overall planning, deployment and coordination of manpower, including the recommendation of Project team members (PM, PE, etc) when new projects are secured.
- Motivate and lead Project Managers / Engineers to perform their job.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Must have +15 years experience in execution of Power Generation / Distribution jobs.
- Must have +10 years experience in managing Estimation & Costing, Design, Procurement, Site Management, Execution, Testing and Commissioning, Coordination with Consultants & Clients preferably in Contracting / Construction Company in U.A.E.
