Job description / Role
• Generator maintenance, repair and troubleshooting Synchronization, installation and commissioning
• Preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair of Generator set such as, Cummins, Perkins and Mitsubishi up to 2250kVA with the Deep sea controller
• Assembling of ATS and Synchronization panel and installation, setup Preventive maintenance repair and troubleshooting of Power Generator set, such as; Perkins FGWilson Power Wizard control system, Caterpillar and Cummins from 30 to 750 kVA.
• Recondition and modification of electrical control system
• Handling of Power Wizard control system, Deep Sea and 6000 series synchronizing system and its upgraded Software
• Perform troubleshooting and repair during commissioning period and breakdown including Synchronization
• Design and assembly of Automatic Transfer Switch and Automatic Start Panel Controller Maintenance troubleshooting and repair of equipments such as; Caterpillar, JCB, Komatsu and Volvo, CASE Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, Tele handlers, Skid Loaders, Tower Lights. Conduct electrical maintenance schedules, daily and weekly reports, material requisition.
• Supervise electrical technicians
• Conduct monthly maintenance of genset, air conditioning unit & electrical system of cell sites
• Overall maintenance of HVAC and Generators including corrective and preventive actions, fire alarm system, Aircraft warning light system, external alarm problems, BBU Rectifier problems, electrical and mechanical problems.
• Respond to all emergency call problems on site whilst on duty
• Assigned in paper work reports
• Maintains electrical wiring system, panel boards, automatic transfer switches outlets, lightings etc of cell sites in good condition
Requirements
• Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant industry.
• Good communication skills in English language.
• Computer knowledge (MS Office) (added advantage)
• Ability to identify Spare parts
• Knowledge of using catalogs
