The RoleThe RoleOverview My client are a leading rental power and utilities company offering rental equipment services throughout the MENA region The Role •This role has a strong business development component which is important for acquiring new customers and markets to grow profitably within the restraints of the funding available to this group. •This role has full balance sheet and profit and loss account responsibility for their Product Group throughout all the Regions in which these products are sold and marketed. •The job holder will be responsible for revenues of approx. 50 M USD •Responsible for a head count over 20+ staff •Responsible for the installation and execution of all Power Projects in all geographic areas where we chose to operate. •Responsible for selling, planning and executing all Power Projects. •Developing and implementing stretched but achievable financial and operational plans. •Responsible for maximizing opportunities from their designated territory which will include detailed ongoing marketing surveys, competitor analysis’ and constant review of all strengths weakness opportunities and treats •The job holder will be responsible for the effective implementation of sales strategies ensuring that all target customers our effectively serviced.. •Responsible for ensuring that the rental fleet is optimized effectively. |
RequirementsRequirements•Engineering Degree Bsc/MSc •10 -15years experience relevant to the Power/Energy Sector •Possess excellent business acumen and have competent business management skills •Strong understanding of financial reports including P&L accounts, the balance sheets and cash flow statements. •Very good communication skills and should be competent in effectively presenting his work in any media method. •B2B sales experience – Design/Sell/Execution of projects •The job holder should have previous experience in working in a Middle East country and preference would be given to those that have previously operated in the GCC. •Strong knowledge within Transformers/High Voltage distribution network – Technical Background |
