Employment: Full Time

For our new office in the UAE, we are recruiting for a Premium Client Manager to drive the acquisition of, and manage the ongoing relationships with, a number of our high value (Premium) clients and also to provide the appropriate level of account management, customer service and trade execution to the premium client portfolio.

The job holder will be responsible for different areas covering Sales and dealing:

Sales
- Proactively seeking to introduce new clients to IGs products and services
- Leveraging existing relationships with clients in order to gain client referrals
- Maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective business and proactively managing through the various sales stages through to conversion
- Maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, fully reflecting the high quality of the IG premium client proposition
- Managing a balance of own sourced and house accounts within a portfolio, maximising their overall value and retention
- Proactively entertaining clients (and prospects) at various sporting and cultural events, which will include out-of-hours commitment on evenings and weekends

Dealing
- Handling incoming dealing lines (volumes will be dictated by client activity and market volatility)
- Executing trades for client in the most efficient way, applying attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge of market mechanics
- Dealing for allocated and personally sourced clients as well as covering for colleagues client bases where necessary. (This may also include non-dealing client queries.)

Although it is unusual for PCMs to work before 7am or after 10pm on the desk, evening and weekend work will be periodically required for client entertaining, events and seminars.

It may also be necessary to work on a rota basis covering 5 days between Sunday and Friday.

Requirements

- Educated to A level standard (or equivalent) at least
- 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a numerate subject
- At least one years experience of derivative sales
- Excellent knowledge and experience of financial markets
- Highly numerate and computer literate
- Able to work to a consistently high standard
- A logical and analytical approach
- Good time management skills
- Worked within a financial environment such as a busy dealing room
