Presales/Estimation Engineer (2 nos) - Radio Communication/Telecom

The successful applicant will perform site survey works, analyse, RF planning, produce systems solutions designs and BOMs. You will liaise with the Sales Department for various telecommunications equipment, systems including wireless PMRs, ICTs, and security systems. You will work under the Solutions and Planning Team.
* Perform pre-sales site survey works at client's site
* Communicate orally and in writing with internal team members and with clients (e.g. to obtain exact customer requirements during survey works,
* Generate the necessary SOW with specifications as well as the survey reports
* Select and offer the best system solutions and technology that meets client's requirements
* Produce system solutions designs with system architecture drawing and BOM
* Coordinate with and submit to the Sales department generated design and BOM with budgetary costs
* Travel to communications sites located in various places within the UAE for the purpose of pre-sales sites survey works and client's meetings
* Documents job-related activity
* Analyses, searches for, and eliminates sources of RF interference (e.g. intermodulation, desense, on-carrier interference, etc.)
* Catalogs, maintains (e.g. adds, modify, updates, etc.) survey documents, shop drawings and reference books
Requirements
* Requires 4 years of satisfactory performance as a Telecommunications Engineer I; OR a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electronics and Communications engineering, or engineering technology with course work equivalent to a BSEE program OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Possession of a valid driver's license is an advantage
* The principles, applications, and physics of analog and digital electronics, microprocessors, amplifiers, antennas, transmission lines, land mobile RF, microwave, multiplexing, data circuits, and systems.
* Different Telecomms technologies and solutions including ICT, TETRA , DMR, & APCO P25, RFID, ICCS, AVLS, Security Systems, CCTV, PAGA, SCADA, IBS/DAS, Wireless Broadband PTP & PTMP.
* TRA regulations pertaining to land mobile radio systems, licensing, transmission power, radiated power, modulation limits and spurious radiation.
