Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop Pricing strategy, policies and roadmap for each segment, maintaining alignment with corporate strategy, segment plans and competitive landscape
- Develop/maintain pricing governance and GTM processes
- Continually seek out yield pricing opportunities to optimize revenues from existing and new price plans
- Determine the feasibility of new products and determine optimal pricing for the new products/promotions
- Drive the design and implementation of pricing conjoint analysis and offer testing
- Develop business cases for new products/promotions
- Conduct post mortem analysis (PIR) highlighting gaps and learnings
- Monitor pricing KPIs (ARPM, ARPS, ARPMB, MOU) to ensure segment objectives, acquisitions/usage/revenue, are achieved
- Monitor competitiveness and profitability of product prices
- Monitor competitors pricing for similar products/services and recommend corrective actions
- Develop/deliver regular and accurate reports to the business on pricing KPIs, profitability and competitiveness
- Develop/maintain Master Price list containing pricing policies, pricing T&Cs and all tariffs
- Align pricing roadmap with Distribution, Commercial, Network, and IT strategies
- Play an influential role in determining system developments in billing and rating functionality and management information
- Ability to lead, manage and develop a small team of highly motivated Pricing analysts

Requirements

- Minimum five years commercial experience in a broadly quantitative role, preferably in a Telecoms environment, and people management experience
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Marketing /Finance or equivalent
- Additional professional qualifications will be an advantage
- Experience in data analysis in areas related to telecommunication preferably in the GSM industry
- Good understanding of analysis tools and statistical techniques
- Very good analytical skills and able to work with numbers, analyze and present raw data in a meaningful format to management
- Experience in conducting pricing conjoint analysis an advantage
- Must have the ability to deal with contending initiatives and prioritise appropriately for the business and pricing team
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to influence senior management
- Strong business and customer focus
- Excellent English is a must, spoken and written
