The RoleThe RoleLycopodium is an Australian headquartered engineering and project management consultancy which provides a complete range of services for the evaluation, development, implementation and optimization of projects across a broad range of industries. With over 900 staff across 8 subsidiaries, we are present in 4 continents with offices in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Manila, Accra and Toronto. Lycopodium Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Lycopodium is involved in managing the assessment, design, planning and implementation of mine site infrastructure. They specialize in designing site buildings, earthworks and drainage, roads, water storage, borefields, airstrips, communication infrastructure, accommodation villages and associated facilities, sewage, piping systems, power lines and switch yards. Due to an increased workload and growth within the team we are currently looking for an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our Perth based Head Office. The Principal Civil Engineer is responsible for providing technical guidance to the Civil Engineering team. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will ideally display the following: • Civil Engineering degree • Minimum 15 years experience in Civil Engineering • 7+ years experience in the design of mining / heavy industrial infrastructure • Ability to work efficiently as the Team Leader within a number of design teams • Experience is the design of earthworks, roads, drainage, water, sewerage reticulation and plant site infrastructure Lycopodium has a strong company culture focusing on career progression and technical skill development.
