Lead Structural Engineer

Would you like to work on some seriously exciting projects?

Our supervision team is working on some of the most prestigious buildings projects across the UAE. This is your chance to join our growing team. We currently have a number of vacancies for competent assistant resident engineers to assist with leading the supervision teams on both new and ongoing projects.

On a day to day basis on site you will be required to:
- assist the resident engineer regarding progress of works, materials and method statements
- lead and supervise project construction activities and monitor the performance of junior engineers
- supervise and monitor the contractors performance in implementation of the civil and structural works and compliance with the approved design, shop drawings and specifications
- review of materials submitted by the contractor and material approval
- review the method statements submitted by the contactor and approvals
- prepare of minutes of meeting as delegated by the resident engineer
- build a trusted relationship with the management team and with the clients counterpart staff as well as establishing an appropriate working relationship with the contractors.

Requirements

- degree level, or equivalent, in civil/structural engineering
- 12 years experience, preferably in the Middle East
- experience in the construction of major buildings projects such as hotels, high rise, civic buildings and shopping malls
- excellent communication and report writing skills in English.
