Principal Highway Design Engineer
The Company
My client are a large global consultancy and they are looking to recruitment and experienced Principal Highway Design Engineer working on a large Roads/Highways project based in Oman.
The Position
Principal Highway Design Engineer duties
* Lead a large team of senior designers on the design management process, overseeing from concept to final design and tender.
* Guide senior and junior designers, as well as CAD designers, ensuring that a high level of quality work is delivered on the transport project
* Provide project support such as drawing up reports, reviewing and coordination of geometric approval drawings, plans, specifications and estimates.
* Interface with clients

Requirements
Candidate requirements
* Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
* minimum of 15 - 20 years' experience.
* strong technical background with good experience in the design of urban and rural expressways, grade-separated interchanges.
* Knowledge of AASHTO design codes.
* Candidate must have experience in the GCC countries.
* Have a dynamic, professional approach when leading a team of designers.
* Solid track record and references will be required.
