Job description / Role
- To monitor and analyze the plant technical performance including feed gas quality, product yields and quality specifications, operating conditions, thermal efficiency, equipment performance and economics.
- To troubleshoot, identify and propose plant performance improvements, to address technical operating problems.
- To ensure all equipments are operated within their safe operating envelope.
- To monitor catalyst/ molecular sieves unloading, loading and catalyst performance monitoring activities.
- To organize tests runs for analysis of unit performance, establishing optimum operating parameters and for identifying process bottlenecks for increasing the plant throughput.
- To review modifications/ new designs to existing plant to make sure that all safety requirements are considered to ensure system integrity.
- To ensure the application of all modern tools especially computer based to achieve optimum plant performance, including plant information system, Laboratory Information Management system and process simulation models such as Hysis.
- To monitor plant effluents and emissions and develop and implement appropriate process schemes to ensure compliance with company HSE objectives.
- To provide input for preparation of division capital, operating and 5 year plan budgets and monitor expenditure.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or Higher.
- Minimum 10 Years of experience in oil and gas industrial and professional and running business stimulation.
- Familiar with feasibility studies implementation related to the production.
