The RoleThe RoleLead the team of Senior, Mid-level and Junior Structural Design Engineers – ensure quality of deliverables, motivate the team, etc. Reviews, coordinates and monitors bridge design to ensure compliance with design standards, specifications and standard practice. Maintains overall knowledge of drawings, specifications, general contracts and time schedules related to the various bridge projects. Ensures all bridge design works are comprehensive and discussed with the various engineers for the best implementation and installation of services in coordination with other parties and contractor. Provides necessary technical support and design review / audit services to project management team ensuring the correctness and quality of implementation of requirements. |
RequirementsRequirementsMaster’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with minimum 15 years extensive experience in the design of bridges and transportation related structures. Must have prior experience in the design of pre-stressed concrete box girder bridges, pre-stressed I girder bridges, etc. Must have experience in the design of bridges for major roadway projects. Experience in the design of structural steel bridges, segmental bridges would be a plus. Experience in the GCC countries will be considered an advantage. Thorough working knowledge with AASHTO design guidelines and structural design software. Proven ability to perform in a management role, excellent written and oral communications skills in English. |
