Job Description
Plans structural execution including scope, deliverables, and scope split matrix, schedules all manpower resources, oversee structural engineering progress and deliverables for assigned projects
• Leads the assigned engineers and drafting personnel to complete the scope as per planned schedule, within budget, in accordance with fabrication standards.
• Coordinates material control requirements and maintains agreed material order release dates and ensures standards are followed.
• Maintains responsibility for structural engineering integrity.
• Reviews all project schedules. Reviews the fabrication schedule in relation to the construction sequence and engineering scope. Plans discipline level 4 detailed schedule/register complaints with overall execution plan.
• Prepares working forecasts, identifies change management plans, corrective action and real time schedules.
• Supervises and guide all engineers, designers or weight control engineers. Assigns task and responsibilities to the project structural team.
• Performs conceptual, FEED and detail design analysis, calculations and reports.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Education: BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering or MS degree preferred.
Experience: 15+ years experience in oil and gas industry with a major contractor or consultant.
Qualifications: Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of Professional Engineering Society.
• Detailed knowledge of all design techniques and analysis methods, detailed knowledge of the theory, content and application of statutory codes and guidelines as applicable for offshore.
• Detailed knowledge of fabrication yard procedures, offshore equipment and project requirements.
• Knowledgeable in project execution skills.
