Principal TMT Sector

Job description / Role

One of my clients is looking for a Principal- TMT Sector to join their team in Dubai. We are looking for a Practice Expert who will attract and deliver significant projects in the TMT Space.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and delivery of projects, as well as making a contribution to business development activities by supporting bid initiatives, leveraging and developing client relations, and being actively involved in client discussions and negotiations.
- Act as a Project Director on smaller scale projects in areas of expertise.
- Control and optimise resources and costs in the delivery of projects ensuring that all time, quality and performance points are exceeded or met.
- Playing a significant role in the career development and mentoring of project teams and sector members, as well as line management of team members.
- Continually develop intellectual capital around expert topic areas to support project delivery and sales.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years consulting experience within the TMT sector, of which 2 years of project management/leadership experience is required
- University Degree from a leading global educational institute, and preferably an MBA, Masters or PhD
- Experience of strategy, design & implementation in the TMT environment
- Experience of business planning for TMT companies
- Experience of managing complex projects and leading teams in multiple locations
- Experience of client management including being the clients primary point of contact throughout an engagement
- Involvement in business development activities including production of proposal documents, sales meetings with clients, and identifying potential sales opportunities relating to project work
