Principle Consultant – Utilities

Job description / Role

My client, a multinational technology company that provides and operates telecommunications networks, television and video systems is searching for a Principle Consultant to join their operation in Turkey

It is a newly created role that will be responsible for driving sales in Utilities primarily in Turkey but should also be able to support the Middle East. It will manage the current solutions as well as shape the future offering portfolio, enhance partner ecosystems and define go to market approaches for key countries.

Having generated significant sales and delivered complex ICT projects in the candidates past career, he will take full responsibility of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure and delivery organization set up.

This includes positioning the company with target customers and managing relations with key stakeholders in the Utilities segment and relevant ICT value chain. Additionally he will create engagement strategies and technical solutions based on customer needs and translate them into customer proposals. Projects can be on a regional as well as on a global level.

Having worked for one of the top Large System Integrator, he will have a deep understanding of Utilities vertical from a business, technology and regulatory perspective. Specifically he will know inside out meter to cash solutions (Smart Meters, Head End Systems, Meter Data Management, Customer Information Systems, Mobile Workforce Management, Asset Management, Middleware, etc.) and Smart Grid transformation. Understanding of Utilities Operating Technology (e.g., SCADA) would be a plus.
Strong consultative skills are a must, as well as excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills.

This role is reserved only for candidates who hold a Turkish passport or a fluent Turkish speaker

Requirements

5 years of direct utilities experience and 15 years overall experience in the IT Consulting and systems integration domain is required.

Must have delivered at least two utilities SI projects in the last 5 years

Must have knowledge of smart metering, Automated Mater Management, Advanced metering infrastructure, Customer Care, Billing and Mobile workforce Management.

A relevant degree is required
