Employment: Full Time

Client: Dubai based investment institution

Responsibilities

Develop an existing book of business consisting of High Net Worth clients focused on MENA.
The Banker will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring new clients and new assets from new and existing clients.
Responsible for sale and implementation of investment, banking and Brokerage products to core clients
Manage each account to ensure that the client has a completed profile and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced
Build trust with clients and effectively manage relationships
Ensure that the proposed products and services maximize the clients' needs, goals and objectives
Provide guidance to staff
Strong relationship management and team building skills; views team concept as critical to model
Engage in direct prospecting; develop network of internal and external referral sources
Use business and personal contacts to help identify potential clients
Solutions provided for both potential clients and current clients are proactive and advice-based
Develop a perspective on specific client situations in order to effectively select products to sell
Educate and advise clients on the variety of solutions that could resolve their issues and meet their objectives
Assist in the development and retention of junior staff through coaching and mentoring
Accountable for ensuring that the client has a positive experience

Requirements

Experience in Private Banking with a min of 5 years experience working with UHNW individual, institutions and banks
Proven track record in prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, brokerage concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions and identification of wealth planning opportunities

Other Technical Skills, Knowledge or Experience:
Experience in banking or financial services with a broad understanding and knowledge of financial products & services.
High level of relationship, sales, risk and business development skills desirable.
Track record of meeting financial and service targets.
Track record of developing client relationships.
Numerate with basic Microsoft Office skills.
