The RoleThe RoleThe private client investment manager will be responsible for providing investment advice and investment management services to the company’s client base of high net worth individuals. You should have proven experience of constructing bespoke portfolio’s for high net worth clients in accordance with their individual circumstances and investment objectives. Responsibilities: • Advising clients on a wide range of financial products, services and investments including equities, bonds, collectives and other fixed interest investments • Evaluation and assessment of client portfolios including the production and presentation of schedules to discretionary clients • Assessing company announcements and their impact on client holdings • Making recommendations for cash balances • Provide a commentary to clients on the economic developments and how these impact each client’s investment portfolio. • As a senior member of the Dubai office support the Country Manager in being responsible to the Partners for the on-going management and profitability of the office • Assist the country manager in supervising and developing more junior members of the team • Assist the Country Manager in monitoring all complaints and compliance issues • Provide input to the UK based research department with stock ideas and thoughts on current recommendations • Make a significant contribution to the business development efforts of the office, acquiring clients through local marketing activities and referrals • Responsible for increasing revenue for each client through cross selling the full range products and services |
RequirementsRequirements• You will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent • The company are regulated by the FSA, you will ideally hold the Securities Representative Examination, CISI Certificate in Securities or CISI Level Four Diploma in Investment Advice. • Proven experience in portfolio construction and asset allocation, ideally with a focus on HNW clients • A passion for financial markets and experience in a wide range of asset classes and investment products. • Fluency in English both verbal and written is essential for this role. • A proven business developer, happy to be proactive in sourcing new clients and following up on leads and referrals from clients and colleagues. • Leadership skills, a strong team player committed to developing more junior members of the Dubai based team. |
