Private Equity Investment Manager

Job description / Role

Our client was established in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2008, they have an authorized capital of over $100 million with a paid up capital of $33.25 million, and holds a category one Islamic Investment Firm license.
Our clients aim is to add high qualitative value to the Islamic investment sector in the GCC. They are looking for a Private Equity Investment Manager to join their Bahrain team

Responsibilities:
• Sourcing, evaluation and screening of potential investment opportunities in the GCC, Middle East and other regions.
• Prepare financial models and analysis of potential projects
• Develop network with corporate and financial institutions
• Build, maintain and present financial models for use of investment team (Investment return models, business simulation models, optimization models, risk management, and risk budgeting).
• Manage due diligence process with external advisors.
• Prepare Information Memorandum and other marketing materials for new projects.
• Provide technical support to the placement team in placing new opportunities.
• Present new projects to the management and board of directors.
• Conduct customized analyses to address specific client issues.
• Communicate with financial institutions and act on behalf of the clients to negotiate financing for different investment.
• Interface with internal and external clients to present and explain our views.
• Manage and follow up with projects post acquisition to ensure positive returns and timely exit.
• Conduct required research for project on initial stage.

Requirements

• BSc. in Finance, Banking, Investment Management or any other equivalent degree.
• A professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking and/or Investment Management is a bonus.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in related investment environment.
• A proven track record in identifying, developing and maintaining significant new business, investors’ relationships and other profit opportunities.
• Strong knowledge in financial products.
• Working in a financial institution is a must.
• Ability to frequently travel to handle deals.
