Job description / Role
- Ensure compliance and implementation of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment procedures (OHSE).
- Candidate should be well versed with Water treatment Process design preferred RO and UF/MF Technology.
- A broad experience working with different type of process control DCS or PLC.
- Adequate experience on desalination technologies and their pretreatment; membrane water treatment, Experience in tendering of desalination plants and bid submittal deliverables.
- Experience in preparation of scope split matrix for vendor packages requirements; review process design calculations, projections for RO and UF/MF system, process flow diagram (PFD), process & instrumentation diagram (P&ID) and general arrangement drawings for Reverse osmosis plant.
- Candidate should provide, process related inputs and for other engineering disciplines during tendering and project execution phases, interact with RO and other process equipment vendors. Process engineer should bring technical support to RO team, Involve in commissioning and starting of operations of the RO plant.
- Candidate should ensure compliance of flow & quality, Optimize the process in terms of reliability and costs of chemicals/ power, Elaborate the relevant follow up and reporting of the process, Analyze any technical issues raised by the operations units, propose solutions and follow their implementation, Design, follow up and analyze tests for improvement of the process.
- Coordinate actions with Reverse Osmosis operation team, laboratory and other sections of technical support department in particular with Network section for hydraulic or metering issues.
- Should have experience in working in EPC/Consultancy Organization in Water Treatment Sector.
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Engineering Degree - Chemical, Mechanical or Water Treatment
- 10 - 15 years experience in Water treatment process with a real focus on Reverse Osmosis plant operations.
- Experience in SWRO commissioning and startup will be preferred.
- Experience in GCC market will be preferred.
- Ability to interpret PI&D and technical drawings
- Promote continuous improvement and accept challenges as they arise.
- Effective verbal and writing presentation, listening and communications skills.
- Enjoy communicating with people with patience, energy and respect.
- The candidate should have whatever it takes attitude with a high commitment to the safety of himself and others.
- Time management skills.
