Employment: Full Time

The responsibilities of the Process Engineer will include working on projects within a team of multiple disciplines, working on conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design projects. Projects will include studies on greenfield / brownfield, water and wastewater infrastructure services for water/wastewater utility companies and/or Oil & Gas companies; specifically: process design and facilities definition, field development planning, safety, environmental, reliability and risk assessment studies.

Job Description:
- Completes a variety of assignments such as PFD, P&IDs and Process Data Sheets.
- Assist in developing operational descriptions and control concepts.
- Works with ICA engineer to develop functional descriptions.
- Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, designs and reports.
- Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
- Reviews drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.
- Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Provides input and technical guidance to CAD drafters, designers, and lower level engineers working on the same project.
- Prepares technical papers and completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Chemical, Biochemical or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience in process design for municipal, biological WWTPs, Water Treatment Plants and/or oil and gas related industries.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Proven ability to perform in a key technical role, good written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
