The RoleThe Role1. Basic Functions Overall •Formulate and develop quality assurance procedures and ensure on going compliance with quality control procedures •Supports investigation of all quality complaints and ensures all corrective actions are completed and effective. •Process development – ongoing optimization of manufacturing processes for new and existing products, new product development and evaluation of new and alternative raw materials •Supports the validation program and change management. •Supervises equipment, process CQV plans, production trials and technical reports. 2. Organizational Relationships •Reports to the Technical Manager on a daily basis. •Working relationships with Technical Manager, Senior Process Engineer, Process Specialist/Technicians, Mechanical/Electrical Technicians and Operations personnel. 3. Duties & Responsibilities •Troubleshooting process issues. Identification and elimination of root cause of quality and technical problems •Supervision of production trials, product testing, assessment and development of quality assurance standards and procedures for new products. •Evaluation of new and alternative raw materials. Supports discussion with suppliers, line trials and technical appraisal of product produced. •Ensures that all quality procedures and checks are properly performed. •Ensures production lines are operating at maximum possible output, identify opportunities for improving productivity. Verifies failure analysis of breakdown and issue corrective recommendations to prevent re-occurrence of failures. •Provides technical support to Sales and Marketing department for new product, technical and quality issues with the established products. Provide information required for product costing purposes. •Installation of new equipment: Take responsibility for project support and be a line of contact with suppliers technicians. Supervise start up and validation of new production equipment and processes. •Submit monthly technical report •Training operation personnel in new and existing methods of operation of plant and machinery. •Coordinates with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to implement modifications to processes. Review design packages for operability, functionality and process safety, coordinating operations activities and making changes to operating procedures and records. •Liaise with purchasing in clarifying technical matters, specifications, etc of raw materials. Respond to the request for identifying and inspecting incoming stocks. |
RequirementsRequirements• Must have Nonwoven experience. • Must have more than 3 years of experience in Nonwoven. • B.S. in Textile Engineering, Polymer Engineering or Chemistry. • Able to work under pressure • Support of all technical matters associated with the manufacturing operation, |
