Project Director
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Major, Multi-Disciplinary organisation operating on a global scale with Interests in Oil & Gas EPC, Mining, Infrastructure and Power. Engineering and Construction is the flagship business of my client. As part of its EPC business, it undertakes Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects as well as large scale complex Construction only Projects in the Energy, Industrial and Infrastructure sectors. They are looking for a Project Director on a plant construction project based in the UAE.
The Project Director role will manage all commercial and technical aspects for the execution and oversight of an (EPC) contract for the construction of a plant, the role will require an individual capable of thoroughly understanding and managing all commercial aspects as well as the complete oversight of the Company’s construction oversight team members. This will be a site based role.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a degree or substantial equivalent technical training and prior extensive experience in project and site management. You will have direct experience in the construction of energy plants, with an emphasis on project execution (construction & completion). You must have a broad background of previous exposure to various disciplines, civil, electrical and mechanical on construction projects and accumulated knowledge base of construction methods used in these disciplines. You will have experience in direct and critical involvement in the construction execution of EPC projects in order to achieve commercial operations.
This is a senior role and as such offers an excellent tax free salary.
