Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
A leading EPC company providing services for oil and gas, petrochemicals, power and other related industry.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
• Review petrochemical proposals and participate in proposal/project kick of meetings and take corrective actions in accordance to company policy.
• Assist in defining cope of work, design, criteria, budget, schedule, standards & procedures, staff requirements, standards & procedures for project assignments, coordinate project staffing and recommends training and development for process engineer.
• Supervises, reviews all the process engineering work, deliverables including process simulation, project drawings (PFDs, P&IDs, supplier drawingsetc.), design calculations & equipment sizing, data sheets, specifications, project philosophies, relief system and lead summary, instruments loading, interlock logic system and safeguards description.
• Promotes technical excellence on the projects including furthering the quality improvement process.
• Ensure that adequate checking is performed in accordance with company policy and procedures.
REMUNERATION:
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Engineering degree in chemical engineering
• 25 plus years of experience in oil & gas/ refinery/petrochemical industries.
• Worked on a significant number of projects as lead, area lead, principal process engineer on the core process of the plant (ISBL) carrying out all the process activities during the execution of EPC.
• Ability to supervise all process work including the wide variety of process deliverable from the conceptual design up till the complete detailed engineering design using the more advanced element of process simulation (Hysis and Aspin) and latest advanced software of process design.
• WESTERN EXPATS WOULD BE PREFERRED.
