Job description / Role
- Receiving Equipment and Material Requisitions from Engineering Dept.
- Preparation of Request For Quotation and sending to approved suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers on receiving quotations and technical proposals.
- Evaluation technically and commercially for the received quotations. Coordinate technical evaluation with Engineering Dept.
- Place orders and follow up periodically on equipment/ material deliveries.
- Coordinate with stores and QA/ QC engineers regarding receiving equipment/ materials and inspections.
- Procurement Engineer shall be assisted by a Procurement Clerk.
Requirements
- Should have minimum 3 years experience in the procurement of electrical materials for industrial electromechanical projects.
- Should have as minimum BSc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Good Communication and negotiation skills.
- Shall be computer literate.
- Strong personality.
- Good English & communication skills
