Job description / Role
a) Receiving Equipment and Material Requisitions from Engineering Dept.
b) Preparation of Request For Quotation and sending to approved suppliers.
c) Follow up with suppliers on receiving quotations and technical proposals.
d) Evaluation technically and commercially for the received quotations. Coordinate technical evaluation with Engineering Dept.
e) Place orders and follow up periodically on equipment/ material deliveries.
f) Coordinate with stores and QA/ QC engineers regarding receiving equipment/ materials and inspections.
g) Procurement Engineer shall be assisted by a Procurement Clerk.
Requirements
a) Should have minimum 3 years experience in the procurement of mechanical materials for industrial electromechanical projects.
b) Should have as minimum BSc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
c) Good Communication and negotiation skills.
d) Shall be computer literate.
e) Strong personality.
