Procurement Engineer

Job description / Role

My client is a joint venture of leading construction companies who are working in a consortium on the construction of a major section of the Riyadh metro project. They are currently looking to strengthen their procurement department and are looking to recruit experienced Procurement Engineers. The role will be to source and purchase all materials for the construction aspect of the Riyadh metro ensuring that they are available on time and that costs are kept to a minimum whist not effecting the quality of the materials.

Requirements

Candidates should have an engineering or construction related degree and must have a proven background in procurement on large construction projects in the Middle East. Candidates will preferably have experience of the Saudi Arabian market and will also have worked on rail or metro projects. Candidates in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are preferred.
