* Understand & work with SAP / ERP System independently
* Generate Reports in SAP as per P & P

MATERIALS RESEARCH

* Likely sources of supply and their capacities - Vendor Evaluation
* Anticipation of Shortages in particular sector
* Major breakthrough if any
* Like price trends
* Changes in Government Policies

SELECTION OF SOURCES

* Searching
* Selection - Pre-qualifying through SAP
* Evaluation - commercial (partly through SAP)

CREATIVE PURCHASING / CONTRACTS

* Goals - five rights
* Negotiations jointly with line Manager
* Control on Purchase Budgets

PROCUREMENT SYSTEM

* Pre-Purchase - Review Requisitions
* Pre-tendering - Ordering Procedures & Contracts (FIDIC guide lines)
* Post Purchase / Contracts - Order Acceptance, Guarantees / L/C's , Expediting  Payment Certification / Invoice Matching in SAP, Order Closures

INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING

* Identify sources of supply
* Commercial terms jointly with line Manager
* Guarantees / Marine Cover Policies
* Documentation / Finalize Freight Forwarders
* Shipping  / Clearing Formalities

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor of Engineering from any recognized universities. 
Experience:
4-5 plus years of experience managing large instrument and electrical construction projects
Technical Skills: -Strong Knowledge of all MEP, Elevator equipment and processes
-Strong computer skills.

* Move around and expedite timely delivery
* Coordinate with site team for acceptance of goods / Payment certificate
* Communication
* Timely Payments to suppliers
* Literate in SAP ERP Procurement module
* MIS - Achievements, failures, Variances

Behavioral Skills:
-Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
-Self-motivated with skills to motivate others -Strong verbal and written communication skill
