Job description / Role
Assist in coordinating raw and white sugar procurement, and related functions.
Assist in analyzing raw and white sugar procurement requirements based on interpretation and assessment of the company's policies, practices, and experience.
Assist in reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and preparing raw and white sugar procurement contracts, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions are included to protect the interests of the company.
Ensure contract compliance, change orders, and problem resolution in conformance with contracts and applicable laws.
Monitor and review progress of supplier/vendor relationships, resolving any problems that arise, performing post contract evaluations, creating and maintaining procurement records; performing periodic cost and productivity analyses.
Requirements
University Degree in in any discipline preferably Business Management, with a strong base of logic and math with at least 3 to 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Skills:
- Knowledge of contracting process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
- Ability to work as a team, and to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
- Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality
- Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
