Job description / Role
International Western Contracting Business is looking for recruit a Project based Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Engineer.
The project is valued at over 3.4 Billion QAR with a 5 Year Program .The project is a complex design & build highways project with 50 +Km / 7 Lanes Width & Numerous Bridges Structures .
You will be working with the Finance Manager & Project Director .
You will be responsible for your team which is made up of 3 Number Procurement Officers dealing with subcontracts , materials, plant and all activities related to a major highways construction project for a International Contractor .
Our client are looking to recruit a strong procurement individual that can manage a team and coordinate with the Construction & Project Managers based on site .
You will be used to managing a team of Indian Engineers and reporting into European Expats .
You will have a history of procurement for large civil engineering contracting companies on projects such as Highways, Bridges, WTW, Rail, Airports & Power Stations.
Requirements
You will match the following criteria:
Minimum of 3 Years GCC experience preferably in Qatar or UAE
Understand the GCC / Middle East supply chain
Have a good understanding of the Middle East market for rates & suppliers
Major Contracting Experience for Top Tier business
Aged from 30-45 Years of Age with 10+ Years Post Grad experience

They have been established over 45 Years and have a pedigree for delivering Major Buildings & Civil Engineering project worth in excess of 150 Million Sterling upwards.
