Morgan McKinley has recently been retained by a Civil and Interiors contracting group seeking a Procurement Manager with a background in civil engineering or construction to be a part of their rapidly growing team. With the acquisition of large value projects, the company is offering a great opportunity to be involved with their operations in Oman.

Reporting to the Director of Civil the Procurement Manager will be responsible for implementing the strategic management of procurement functions as well as the management of supplier relationships. With a strong, solid background in purchasing and negotiation, the candidate will take a proactive approach in reviewing current operations and procedures making recommendations and implementing changes. The role will involve identifying potential suppliers with a strong knowledge of suppliers in the industry.

Salary Range - AED 20,000 - 25,000 (negotiable - depending on experience)

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering with civil or construction background
5 years in a Procurement or Buyer position
Gulf experience is essential
Experience in Civil Engineering or Construction
Strong knowledge of industry suppliers
