Job description / Role
My client is a leading European engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation and a track record of working on major projects throughout the world. They have a large presence in the Middle East and are currently looking to strengthen their team in Qatar. They are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to work on large build projects in Doha. The role will involve managing the supply chain to ensure that all materials and equipment are available at the correct location and that costs are kept to a minimum and profits are increased.
Requirements
Candidates will preferably have a degree or equivalent from an internationally recognised university and will be a chartered member of the Institute of Purchasing in the UK. Candidates must have worked in senior purchasing positions in large construction companies and will be used to handling purchasing for mega construction projects. Candidates will be familiar with construction materials and will have preferably worked in the Middle East. Candidates must posses excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
