Procurement Manager - Flagship Project in Qatar
Guildhall have been exclusively commissioned to identify a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement activity for one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region.
This contracting organisation has been within the top 10 global contracting lists for over 20 years and has projects world wide.
They now need to fill a new position within their organisation on a brand new awarded project.
The procurement manager will have (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Preparing approved vendors list, request for quotations/ proposals based on Project specification, drawings and BOQ.
- Receiving quotations and preparing comparison statements both technical & commercial.
- Review and develop the Procurement Strategy across the organization to deliver the target benefits and financial savings.
- Employs effective sourcing techniques in identifying reliable sources for existing or new projects.
Requirements
- Degree educated in Procurement, Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- GCC Experience
- Minimum 7 years in procurement in to construction projects
- Experience in Qatar
- Must have acted as a Procurement Manager in a contracting company
