Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Manages the listing of all allocated vendors and products required by internal and external customers as per the contractual requirements and internal procurement policies with main focus in achieving cost savings and delivering a quality service. This position is responsible to develop vendor relationships, to recognize/realize trends/developments in time to be able to accomplish constantly competitive prices and quality service.

- To define and manage key vendor relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service and quality for internal and external customers.
- To develop and implement suitable procurement contingency plans for respective vendors and products.
- To meet defined objectives in the following areas:
- Product Compliancy
- Cost Saving Objectives and Cost Transparency
- Data Accuracy
- Vendor Performance
- Contract Coverage
- To ensure all products are purchased at the most competitive prices as per the defined customer specifications.
- To control that vendor and product changes are executed in a controlled manner, so no supply chain interruptions will occur.
- To submit approval requests for new Vendor and Product listings as per the agreed process.
- To support the claims coordinator as required to ensure that all Non Conformances are finalized latest 3 month after occurrence.
- To ensure that benchmarking exercises are executed as per the agreed schedule and SOP, which gives all qualified vendors an equal opportunity to compete.
- To lead new tender projects as directed by the line manager.
- To perform any other duties as requested by the line manager.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Procurement or similar field with minimum 5 years experience;
- Demonstrates experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
- Excellent Negotiation/Analytical/Interpersonal Skills;
- Excellent English and French Language Skills;
- Familiar with working in an integrated and multi-cultural environment;
- Proficient PC User including MS Office, outlook and the internet; Ability to use information and communication technology in a proficient manner including but not limited to standard MS Office applications, and ERP systems;
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected; Proven experience of leading procurement in a complex environment with a high level of uncertainty;
