Employment: Full Time

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Procurement Manager to join our Railway Division.

Reporting to the Railway Director, the position will oversee contracts management, supplier selection, due diligence, risk and compliance evaluation, contract definition and negotiation, and specifically develop a sourcing strategy for the Railway Division that will be the best in its class.

Job responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for supplier selection and the development of data analysis and requirements for informed supplier decisions.
2. Conducts supplier analysis, evaluates potential suppliers, and manages the overall supplier qualification process.
3. Develop and create sourcing plans, requests for proposal, and other sourcing documents.
4. Evaluates and recommends purchasing and sourcing decision to manage and negotiate contracts and renegotiate, renew and discontinue supplier contracts.
5. Conduct and record periodical performance reviews and suggest development plans.
6. Responsible for identifying ways to reduce costs that are focused on greater efficiency and better quality resources for the project team.

Requirements

1. A minimum of 5 years of procurement management position in a heavy engineering or transport environment is essential.
2. Bachelor degree/Higher in any stream.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop supplier agreements, negotiate and execute commodity and service contracts.
