Job description / Role
International Contractor in Roads and Highways seeking Procurement Manager with 8 Yrs experience in Doha.
Our client is a civil contractor with a strong foothold on the local market in Doha. Due to continued success with an ongoing client, a new requirement has arisen for a Procurement Manager to be based in Doha, Qatar.
The successful candidate must be well versed in procurement particularly processes and procedures, logistics, the tender process, bid analysis and also vendor relations / management.
Candidates from either a Quantity Surveying / Procurement or Supply Chain / Buyer background will be considered, as will candidates from any sector IT / Property Services / Banking / Education.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this role, the Procurement Manager will possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Supply Chain or relevant related discipline
- A minimum of 10+ years post graduate experience in Procurement and In Qatar
- Previous work experience internationally (ideally Asia) is advantageous but not essential
- Have excellent leadership and communication skills.
