Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

Reporting to the Procurement Director, the key responsibilities include:
* Leading the implementation of the global strategies and creating and implementing indirect category & commodity supplier management strategies including sourcing, supplier base management and replenishment
* Managing cluster supplier base and implementing global & regional contracts.
* Drive accuracy of master data on the cluster suppliers, contracts & materials
* Drive improvements & compliance of procurement processes
* Drive cost savings, supplier reduction & increase of contracted spend according to strategy
* Drive Cluster cost and spend follow up on categories
* Follow up implementation of Global/Cluster contracts & performance
* Develop involvement with key stakeholders when implementing Global/Cluster strategy, communicating results and targets and being proactive business partner
* Share good practices & facilitate networking within & between organizations
* Ensure involvement of key stakeholders when developing & implementing strategies and when implementing Global/Cluster contracts

Requirements

* Must be degree qualified, preferably in procurement & supply chain
* 5+ years procurement management experience for the indirect categories (especially Marketing, Professional Services) within any industry.
* Must preferably have Middle East experience.
* Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong communication in English.
