Job description / Role
The Procurement Manager is the Sourcing reference person of the manufacturing site. He/She will work closely with the Site Operations Team and Head of Category Management / Category Buyer in order to achieve the Site Goal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop a proposal and implement the Site Annual Sourcing Plan for all the commodities granting the yearly Material Gross Saving.
- Implement Material Gross Savings Projects leading inter-functional team effort in order to achieve the target saving, on time.
- Propose Site Standard Cost Setting according to Budgeting timing
- Site result responsibility on Sourcing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Management.
- Develop site analysis and Corrective Actions when actual is below expectation.
- Site Purchasing Price Variance management (PPV) including checking Pricelist (invoice control & credit notes).
- Cooperate and activate the Category Buyers, to achieve Site planned goal
- Develop a proposal for Year End Forecast, on monthly basis.
- Site Project Management on Saving Projects
- Facilitate Site Vendor Transition Project
- Lead Service Level Improvement project (Supplier Quality PPM and/or On Time Delivery and/or Lean Supply)
- Support Category buyer in domestic negotiation (e.g. language) and contract management.
- Implementation of Site Vendor improvement plan; Supplier Capability Assessment (SCA), Supplier Quality Audit (SQA); Vendor Rating & Corrective Actions
- Site Sourcing Quality System
- Prepare site sourcing monthly report

* 10-15 years of experience in purchasing and sourcing, preferably in industrial products.
