Employment: Full Time

Up to AED 30,000 per month + Annual Benefits

Our Client is a global leader Automotive Manufacturer that provides a full range of automotive services for passenger vehicles. They are looking to recruit an experienced PROCUREMENT MANAGER. It is a key position for the delivery of procurement benefits including financial savings and implementation of new procurement processes and systems.

Job Overview:
- Design and improve strategy management process.
- Implement a supplier development plan to improve the performance in the areas of cost, quality, lead time etc.
- Establish a process of swiftly identifying new suppliers maintain approved supplier/potential supplier database, establishing supplier leads through trade fairs, chamber of commerce, and internet.
- Implement a process for holistic supplier qualification on sourcing, financial, quality and innovation front.
- Implement end to end purchasing and procurement process, policy incorporating local/international supplier.
- Tender of proposals (coordination with departments, use of global sourcing).
- Coordination with group purchase department.
- Use and implementation of global contracts.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and carry our supplier review meetings.
- Analyse spend data, look for collaborative opportunities between the 2 brands and seek opportunities to improve leverage to achieve a competitive advantage.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years experience in Purchasing function, Multinational background required.
- Must have an exposure in Indirect Spend.
- Must have a University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain or related discipline.
- Must have CIPS or MCIPS.
- Previous procurement experience with responsibility for delivery of procurement benefits including financial savings.
- Experience of implementing new procurement processes and systems.
- Excellent negotiator and very proactive in their approach.
- Service mindset with internal counterparts.
- Strategic mindset with relevant operational excellence.
- Preference will be extended to European candidates.
