Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining business relations with both local and international suppliers. The procurement manager provides customer service support to DaVita employees for the purchase of products and services used in dialysis facilities and in business offices. Stock control and providing itemized forecasts for each centers.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive:
- Develop and maintain business relations with local (Saudi Arabian) and International suppliers.
- Setting & reporting the Min-Max stock levels (Center, Regionally &Nationally) for items & product coverage: HD/PD consumable, IV Fluids, Pharma,VA. etc
- Setting the itemized forecast for each center with full coordination with the concerned DVA centers.
- Setting the ordering and re-ordering procedure in coordination with DaVita concerned staff (Local, EMEA & US).
- Communicate and negotiate with local, regional & International suppliers all various ancillary requirements for various centers.
- Follow up all the logistics with local & International suppliers for the forecasted deliveries status and organize receiving/distribution.
- Outsource & negotiate with all sub services providers (Lab, VA, security, cleaning, waste disposal and other)
- Negotiate and arrange with contracted IT firm & DaVita operation, the internal coding system, stock keeping & dispensing flow mechanisms & documentation.
- Answer questions (phone and email) in accordance with response times established for the position; follow-up as necessary
- Resolve issues teammates may have with vendors, products, purchase order processing
- Resolve issues teammates may have with use of the online order system
- Analyze support-tracking data to identify trends and patterns in data; suggest solutions; notify management; implement corrective actions as approved
- Maintain and enhance department information on DaVitas intranet
- Support and educate decentralized teammates on current processes and procedures as well as on-going changes
- Lead the Oracle user testing requirements; work with management to implement and roll out enhancements to the field organization and business offices
- Assist with a variety of purchasing team projects and tasks as assigned
- Assist with effective transitions when supplier or product changes are made

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
- Work overtime with little or no notice as needed
- Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
- Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
- Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position

Requirements

- Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
- Minimum of four (4) years related experience in Procurement & Customer Service required
- Supply/Sourcing/Purchasing experience in healthcare or multi-site company strongly preferred
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required; intermediate proficiency with an online ordering system required

Language skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic both written and verbal to perform successfully the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position; primary language of position is English.
