Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

- Should manage the team of 5-6 personnel; supervise them as per their tasks
- Manages procurement of engineering products like Electrical Equipment & Supplies, water industry products, Building &
Construction Materials, Automotive etc.
- Responsible for generating enquires
- Evaluate on the quotes received, negotiate and finalize as per the specification
- Surveying and evaluating new potential suppliers in order to expand business
- Build and maintain exceptional relationships with existing clients and suppliers

Requirements

- Graduate with minimum 5 to 8 years experience
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Must be confident, enthusiastic with go getter attitude
- Candidate age must be in between 35-45
- Experience in managing a team with strong leadership and influencing skills
- Preferably from procurement background.
- Strong knowledge of local market and international market
- Good negotiations skills and proven track record of delivering successful commercial outcomes
- Ability to deploy global contracts and successfully implement purchasing strategies
- Strong track record in developing and implementing purchasing process
- Ability to manage and execute complex projects on time and in budget
