Procurement Officer

Technical Manager

Work location:
Head office, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose:
The jobs in this level are responsible for purchasing and providing the required goods and products in a timely manner with the quality expected by placing the purchase orders, gathering information, studying the vendors and following up on ordered goods.

Job Description:
• The Key responsibility includes handling efficiently all the procurement activities:
• Follows all relevant procurement policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the procurement to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Provides departments with buying services to meet the departments requirements.
• Identifies vendors’ for assigned commodities to ensure that the required materials are purchased within the budget and timeframe.
• Issues requests for quotation to initiative vendor relationships.
• Issues purchase orders after receiving three quotations from different vendors to ensure that the vendor is selected based on best price, quality and delivery in the required timeframe.
• Monitors vendor’s conformance with contracts to develop the capability of vendors and ensure that the quality is maintained.
• Studies market trends and provides relevant information to ensure that the required materials with the needed quality are being purchased.
• Participates in proposals and process requests by sending RFP to vendors.

Requirements

Qualification Required:
Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structure / Architect Engineering.

Experience:
• Overall 10 years experience, civil, structure, MEP & architect experience.
• Must possess strong Leadership, Communication and Negotiation Skills.
• Familiar with local market in Saudi Arabia, and the Golf Area.
