This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global procurement hub with one of the largest Oilfield Services organizations globally.
Role Description
Reporting to the Procurement Leader, the role is responsible for spot buys for orders within defined limits including:
Validates the 'spot' nature of the Purchase Request
Obtains quotations, evaluates options, and conducts spot buys for centrally managed suppliers
Supports sourcing, if required, on non-spot requests
Involves Field Purchasing Leader in spot buys when local knowledge is required
Coordinate with Procurement Specialist- Ordering process to ensure coordination of requests and PO Creation
Performs problem solving for non-complex issues with operations user
Triggers catalogue updates when required
Proposes documentation changes / improvements to process when required
Ensures full compliance with HSE and TCC policies
Requirements
Who we're looking for
Based in Malaysia, our client is looking for ambitious Arabic Speakers from the Middle East who are looking for global opportunities and are willing to relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain as a minimum.
Experience working within the procurement field with Oil and Gas organizations.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, in both written and oral.
Possess the ambition and drive to have a global career in the long term, and shows resilience and tenacity.
Proficient in procurement concepts.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
