Job description / Role
Procurement Specialist - AED 28,000 per month plus benefits
Our client, a large Oil & Gas organisation, is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their ever growing Dubai operations.
The purpose of the role is to coordinate and control the sourcing, purchasing, inventory control and logistics in support of the company. Ensures maximum value is derived from purchase expenditure, ensuring continuity of supply while minimizing inventory investment. Handles purchase of small to large value items often of a highly complex technical nature. Conducts negotiations with local and international vendors for assigned purchases.
Requirements
- 5+ years procurement/purchasing experience in the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of procurement
- Firm negotiator with an excellent knowledge of Supplier market
- Highly effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Technical degree or Bachelors degree in relevant field: Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Materials and Service Management Certification
- Must be proficient in ERP/Maximo systems
- Age: Under 40 preferred
