Procurement Specialists [Junior to Supervisory Level]
Our client is an independent oil and gas development and production company. Due to centralisation of their procurement function and growth of their international business they have requirements for Procurement Specialists ranging from Junior to Supervisory level in their Dubai office who will provide purchasing support to their UK office.
You will ensure all materials and services required by the Company are sourced and procured in a timely and cost effective manner in accordance with appropriate policies, procedures and processes and maintain a full audit trail for all procurement transactions. You will monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement, consolidate the supplier base and identify and materialise opportunities of buying from alternate markets.
Requirements
Applicants should be educated to degree level in Procurement Supply Chain, Business Management or similar with a minimum 2 years of Procurement experience for the junior roles and at least 5 years for the higher level positions. Ideally you will have provided remote procurement support to an international business. Additionally you must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of procurement processes and concepts and be proficient in a procurement business system such as MAXIMO.
You will be fluent in English with good verbal and written communication and presentation skills and be able to demonstrate good negotiation and analytical skills. Preference will be given to applicants with Oil and Gas industry experience.
