Job description / Role
Our client is a highly regarded UK based independent operator focusing on North Sea and Continental Shelf exploration projects. As a result of continued growth across its exploration portfolio we are now seeking to appoint a Procurement and Contracts Specialist on a staff basis to work in the London Head Office.
The successful candidate will undertake a pivotal role with primary exposure to the following tasks:
- Support of operational activity from project requisition and contract administration
- Implement and improve best practice across all supply chain activities
- Oversee day to day contract management activity
- Manage a small team of procurement and contracts professionals
- Provide reporting function directly to main board
- Identify initiatives and improvements to procurement, supply chain and contracts performance
Requirements
We are therefore seeking applications from candidates able to display the following experience and behaviours:
- 10 years procurement and supply chain experience
- Oil and Gas operator exposure
- Previous management of small and integrated teams
- Entrepreneurial
- Driven and dynamic
