Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client specialise in providing training and development to the finance sector. They are currently looking to add to their team by recruiting a Product Development Executive.

Candidates must have experience within Training in the Banking & Financial services industry and understand the technical aspects of Training within this industry to be able to add product knowledge and support to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the strategic training direction to meet the overall company objectives
- Develops training objectives, and programs and participates in the new course development process
- Establishes metrics and measures the effectiveness of all training programs
- Manages the instructional design and administrative functions for all the training programs
- Works to assess training needs and prioritize workload, which may include recommending solutions as well as establishing priorities and managing expectations
- Develops policies and procedures that keep internally developed courses updated and maintained
- Leads through work related problems and/or obstacles, creating and delivering performance evaluations.
- Assess developmental needs to drive training initiatives
- Ensures accuracy of training records
- Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate and enhance performance through training programs
- Conduct follow-up studies of completed training courses to evaluate and measure results; modify programs as needed
- Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media

Requirements

Candidates must have a background in Training as well as Banking & Finance and be fluent in both English and Arabic.

Requirements:
- The ability to participate in the strategic direction of the department
- Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Related work experience should include instructional design/development and facilitation of Training
- Strong management skills, which includes mentoring, coaching, and developing staff
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with others, including senior management and executives.
- Being bi-lingual is an advantage
- Ability to transfer knowledge and learning related to job functions; ability to develop and present recommendations to senior management
- Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment with a sense of urgency, and to develop and deploy changes to positively impact service delivery
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
