Al-Futtaim Motors are the sole distributors for Toyota, Lexus and Hino brands in the UAE. Since the company's inception in 1955 it holds the pre-eminent position of being the largest distributor of automotive products and services in the UAE. We also hold the distinction of being one of the largest private conglomerates in the gulf region.

Al Futtaim Motors enjoy's undisputed leadership in the UAE in terms of the largest number of vehicles on the road. Besides Toyota and Lexus, we also hold exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more.

We are currently looking to recruit aProduct Executive to be based in the Al Futtaim Motors Head Office in Dubai.

A product Executive does extensive analysis and research regarding product competitors and potential customers to provide a marketing strategy and message for a product.

His main role is to consider short-terms actions to increase product's market share and increase profitability.

* Conduct market analysis through research projects and constantly monitored and enhanced marketing intelligence resources to deliver reports on competitive activities and decide on the overall marketing strategy.
* Create and manage the database of Toyota model specifications
* Collect and update information on competitor models and markets trends in volume market.
* Conduct CEP study on all Toyota models and update on regular basis.
* Assist in determining the price positioning for current product range and deciding on future product positioning strategy
* Create model codes and product specifications in system and support order planning
* Generate reports related to product as required by management and proactively assist in effective product planning.
* Coordinate with TMC for setting product specifications and prepare AFM Toyota product portfolio as required by the market.
* Negotiate with TMC for special orders and special pricing as required by the branches and market.
* Preparing presentations for negotiating product specifications and pricing with TMC.
* Report competitor product & pricing information as required by TMC.
* Generate presentations on new models and provide all product related support material to branches.
* Prepare training guide for sales team and collect feedback and update management of requirements and expectations.
* Coordination with Automotive shared services for setting up costs for regular models and carrying out necessary changes for special promotions.
* Generate product specifications sheets for sales team and update the branches on regular basis.
* Conduct pricing study on new models to be introduced in the market

Requirements

- University Degree in Engineering / Marketing / Business Administration.
- Friendly and eager to learn ( not saturated )
- Excellent English capability ( English as first language)
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Automotive and brand management experience is a must. Minimum Experience: 5 years of sales planning / Product Management Job-Specific Skills: - Previous Toyota brand experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, advanced systems skills in particular MS Excel , Power point,
- Organized
- Objective Orientated
- Good communication skills and team player, ability to work off own initiative,
- The individual must be able to work under pressure whilst working towards tight deadlines Behavioural Competencies: able to plan & prioritise tasks; initiative; self-starter; strong team player, positive can do attitude.
