Product Manager – Consumer Electronics

Job description / Role

•Directly reporting to merchandising manager
•Manage the category as the 'Category Owner' by well defined KPIs
•Negotiate and finalize the vendors annual business development agreements with in the targeted period
•Provide guide lines to the buyers on weekly promotions, mega promotions, anniversary events, exclusive thematic displays in exclusivity on new products launching, new store openings, seasonal promotions
•Presenting weekly super promo plans to the marketing
•Review the weekly leaflet layouts, appropriate actions/decisions and finalize the category ads designed by the marketing department
•Private label sourcing and finalizing the contracts
•Ongoing analysis of category performance on sales, margin, rebate and other income and action plans to align with the budget
•Carry out periodical business reviews of top 10 vendors in relation to the sales performance and to agree the further objectives and commitments
•Liaising with head of the departments, section managers, store managers on promotions, private label SKUs, visibilities compliance and vendor shelf share information etc
•Setting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly objectives to the team and timely reviews to ensure the business objectives are achieved
•Quarterly business review with GM
•Plan and execute the long term and tactical promo event
•Develop and managing the complete internal customers and external supplier relationship through both team and personal contacts

Requirements

3-5 Years experience in Product Management
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Experience in managing brand relationship
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent reporting skills
Excellent Ms office & analysis skills
Excellent Communication skills in both Arabic and English
Creative mindset when it comes to campaigning
