Employment: Full Time

I’m working with a Global Medical Device organisation dedicated to improving peoples lives. They are seeking a Product manager with extensive marketing experience while they will be responsible for the management and growth of an assigned market segment and product lines particularly Orthopaedics; managing a specific products in support of the overall Company strategy. Marketing is key in this role while developing a successful marketing strategy to meet and implement both short term and long-range objectives for assigned market segment product lines is essential. Progression is also very important within this organisation where they aim to develop and assist individuals long-terms goals.

Responsibilities:

- Monitors customer requirements for both existing and future products. Develops program and strategies to support global growth of product lines within respective market segment.
- Remains constantly informed about competitor product lines, pricing, and positioning of market share.
- Provides product marketing or training presentations to sales representatives, health care professionals, and buying groups to promote product use.
- Provides necessary education and support to doctors, nurses, and other clinicians in order to promote overall effectiveness of clinical trials. Communicates actively and provides marketing to sales force within each geography.
- Provides monthly forecast input as part of Standard Operating Process on respective product lines.
- Monitors and evaluates revenue to annual plan and forecast and adjusts strategy accordingly to attain annual goals.
- Interfaces with Sales Management staff in securing input on product sales potential and forecast, input on sales/marketing strategies and programs, and in providing ongoing sales support to ensure successful tactical implementation of strategies and programs.
- Reviews advertising and sales promotion programs in conjunction with the Divisional Manager and Sales Director, and provides input regarding concept, layout and design.
- Remains informed about medical/surgical/technical procedures and information by attending applicable seminars, classes and workshops for continuing education units.
- Define overall product strategy, product roadmap, and formal marketing/product requirements.
- Drive market and competitive research.

Requirements

Requirements:
At least 5 years total experience in orthopaedics Sales & Marketing in the medical industry
Demonstrated in-house product management/product marketing experience (minimum 3 years)
Experience with product launches
Must be able to speak and write English

Product knowledge,
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills,
Excellent Presentation Skills,
Up to 40% travel required as per schedule,
Excellent Interpersonal Skills,
Leadership Skills,
Skilled in making presentations and demonstrating products to Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (preferably marketing, business administration or life sciences)
A postgraduate degree (MBA) is considered a plus

This is a specific Marketing role rather than sales, while in depth marketing experience particularly within orthopaedics is ideal. Please apply online.
