The RoleThe RoleRecruiting a Product Manager - Pharmaceuticals needed in Dubai. Our Client is a leading global provider of drug development and manufacturing services in the rapidly growing pharmaceutical outsourcing sector. The Company operates a network of fourteen facilities in Canada, the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, UAE and France, employing over 5,600 people. They serve more than 150 pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, including 15 of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. They are now seeking a Product Manager for their Pharmaceutical Development Services Department (PDS) within the Project Management Division. Job Purpose To act as a liaison between the client and internal PDS organisation to ensure that all needs are met concerning both project budgets and timelines. To be accountable to the internal organization, as well as to the client, to monitor and maintain the project budget and timelines. Key Responsibilities Project Management Manage an appropriate number of active projects (typically up to 5 medium projects) with regular monitoring from Senior Project Managers, ensuring all assigned projects are delivered on time managing the revenue and the budget. Responsible for the chairing all project meetings, teleconferences, face-to-face interactions, including the generation of team minutes. Generation, updating and facilitating agreement to project plans, including the accuracy of revenue and resource forecasting, data transfer to the Sales Order Register (SOR), and timely invoicing to clients on completion of project milestones. Manage the generation, monitoring and control of assigned project Timesheets, ensuring full transparency of performance versus budget for all assigned projects, within the project teams, and with the Senior Management team. Resolves project issues and resource constraints within the team and with assistance from Senior Project Manager or mentor. Communication To effectively communicate internally and externally, adopting a professional approach within the project teams, with clients, and to PDS Senior Management. To promote the PDS business capabilities both internally and externally. To provide positive leadership to the project teams. Client Management Manage client satisfaction by managing client expectations efficiently with minimal coaching from Senior Project Manager. Maintain good working relationship with client Responsible for timely preparation, negotiation and approval of all Changes of Scope, involving the relevant business manager(s) where appropriate |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements Qualifications and Experience Previous experience (over 8-10 years) in a Similar Product Management role. Degree or equivalent in Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Biological Sciences Solid Experience within Pharmaceutical Development, Clinical trails Manufacture, Commercial Manufacture, Project Management, Financial awareness Client contact experience Excellent organisational skills Ability to communicate at all levels Detail conscious Numerate |
